About Stout: Stephen was born in upstate New York and moved to California with his family when he was a young teenager. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1988 with a Criminal Justice Degree.

Stephen found an interest in insurance and was immediately hired by Aetna (now Travelers Insurance) where he worked for 10 years in litigation and claims. Stephen was young & aggressive and found after 10 years he had maximized on the insurance carrier side of the business so he obtained his Property and Casualty License and began his career as an Insurance Broker in 1998. With his experience in litigation and claims, his technical insurance knowledge and his relentless work ethic, Stephen began to build his book of business and in 2002 took on the challenge of opening his own Agency. Stout Insurance Brokers, Inc. was founded in 2002 by Stephen and Christine Stout. Stephen and Christine have worked hard at building and maintaining relationships and the steady growth of Stout Insurance Brokers, Inc. through sacrifice, dedication, honesty, integrity and good old fashioned hard work. They believe in their tag line ‘Earn it’ ‘Protect it’ ‘Insure it’ because they have worked very hard and have earned everything they’ve achieved. Stephen and Christine have been married since 2001 and have three children together. They also have three Golden Retrievers that are very much a part of their family. Stephen and Christine are very family oriented and have a passion for animals. They enjoy a circle of close friends and believe in deep, committed relationships.
